About TJ Meadows
THE ARCHITECT OF THE MEADOWSPHERE

TJ Meadows has always been a writer. She just didn't always know it was going to turn into this.
It started with a blog in 2017 - a way to find her voice and figure out what she actually had to say. Two years later, writing a book moved from "someday" to "now" on the bucket list, and The Perilous Road to Happiness became the first book in The Roads Collection. Several more followed. Then another series. Then another. Then a cookbook. Because apparently once you open that door, it doesn't close - and TJ has never been particularly interested in closing it.
By day, she untangles the ickiest problems for a large tech company in North Carolina. By night - and during car rides, long lines, and any other pocket of time the universe offers - she builds worlds. The Meadowsphere now spans four series, a companion cookbook, and a cast of characters that has taken on a life entirely its own.
She writes romance, mystery, and drama that doesn't flinch. Her characters go through genuinely terrible things and come out the other side changed, complicated, and worth rooting for. The goal, every time, is for readers to finish a book feeling like they've made new friends they can't wait to see again. Based on the reader who wrote, "What do you call that feeling when you are sad at the end of the book because it's over?" - mission accomplished.
TJ writes longhand whenever possible. There's always a pen and notebook nearby, and some of the best scenes in The Meadowsphere were written in a passenger seat going 70 miles an hour down I-40. She finds it clarifying. Her husband finds it slightly alarming but has learned to just hand her a notebook and stay in his lane.

When she's not writing, TJ is an unapologetic Arizona Cardinals fan - yes, even in the hard years, of which there have been many - a devoted consumer of British and Australian television, and the somewhat chaotic caretaker of a household that includes three dogs (Tango, Charli, and Juliett), a tortoise named Enzo, and a "mini" pig named Winston. Winston is not particularly mini. There are also the newest additions - Khoi, Sashi, Arielle, Watson, and Verne II, the betta fish.
She has also seen Duran Duran live sixteen times. She maintains a bucket list spreadsheet specifically dedicated to seeing them under various obscure conditions - different days of the week, different cities, first concert of a tour, last concert of a tour. She has a Simon Le Bon tattoo. Her husband is, by all accounts, a very good sport about all of it. She occasionally refers to him as her second love. He accepts this graciously.
The Meadowsphere keeps growing. TJ keeps writing. Winston keeps grazing.
